Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson (in full Kelly Brianne Clarkson) was born April 24, 1982 , in Fort Worth, Texas. She is an American TV personality and singer-songwriter. As of 2002, she was crowned the winner of her first American Idol talent contest. Clarkson was born at Burleson Texas (a suburb within Fort Worth), where her singing abilities were first recognized by her seventh-grade music teacher. After graduating high school, Clarkson went for a visit to Los Angeles to try to become a showbiz. In 2002, after returning to Texas and completing her high school, she was selected as one of the contestants on the debut season of the FOX Broadcasting Co's American Idol, a singing contest that let viewers vote for their favourite performer. Fans were amazed by Clarkson's jaw-dropping voice, her personality, and charm. Clarkson's prize was $1 million, and she also signed a recording agreement with RCA.
