Melissa Fumero
Melissa Gallo, born August 19th, 1982 was born in Lyndhurst New Jersey. When she was a teenager she and her Cuban parents moved to America. Her father was a teacher as well as a jewelry shop employee, while her mother was homemaker and hairdresser. Gallo was raised in Guttenberg and relocated to Lyndhurst at the age of six years old. The family she was raised with were fluent in Spanish in the home as a family however, when her brother was having issues at school, her parents stopped requiring her to learn Spanish. Gallo started dancing as an infant and was enthralled by making plays and performing. After watching The Secret Garden on Broadway when she was ten years old She began to become interested in acting. Her classes were arranged by her parents. Her classmates and she enjoyed attending theater classes since they focused more on the performance than their physical appearance. They continued taking dance and acting classes until she was able to graduate. Her concern was about not being enough to pay for the cost of tuition for New York University, which was her ideal school. The parents of her took out numerous loans, and drained money to make sure she was able to go. Also, they let Gallo remain at their home[10until the time she went away. Her graduation was in 2003. She earned the Bachelor of Fine Arts (dramatics) degree.
