Anita Sarkeesian has been a Canadian and American feminist media critic for over 20 years. She is also an accomplished public speech writer. She is the author and director of executive for Feminist Frequency an educational non-profit website that explores representations of women in popular media narratives. Dispelling stereotypes of women is her primary goals. In addition, Sarkeesian highlights issues related to specifically targeted harassment online against women and other minorities who have been excluded.
