Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American actor, voice actress, director producer and vocalist. She's attractive and talented actress who has helped numerous Asian actors to make it in Hollywood. The early successes of her were boosted by her appearance on a few popular shows. There, she portrayed the evil Ling Woo. She translated her unexpected popularity into big screen roles in films like Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. The film Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave a stunning performance as Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii. At the same time, she was also in the lead role in a few film that did not make the top of the charts, like Rise: Blood Hunter. She then began to voice characters from animated films like Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's tiny screen role on Cashmere Mafia did not produce any results. Southland's critically-acclaimed police drama, Southland and a recurring performance helped Liu to reestablish herself the status of an established actress.
